The Actor's Toolbox

Welcome to the 2019-2020 season of the Flint Repertory Theatre's Education Department! We are excited to be back for another year of transformative, engaging and energetic theatre education offerings. The faculty, staff and I are looking forward to having you join us for a year of learning in courses that are designed to help artists of all ages not only develop their love for theatre, but also their awareness of themselves and what they can do when they harness their creativity.

This season will include our year round courses, camps and workshops
for students 4 years old through 12th grade, as well as three terms of adult theatre classes. All of these classes will have a final showcase of skills learned for friends and family at the end of each term.

Also, Flint Youth Theatre (a program of the Education Department) will focus on student driven productions that will perform at the theatre and around the community. From Improvisation and playwriting to directing and performing, Flint Youth Theatre continues to support the passion and creativity of our young theatre artists.

So, whether you have taken a class with us before or you are starting your adventure with us for the first time, we are looking forward to seeing you grow, develop and create as you join us on the stage!
