Interested in being a volunteer usher at Flint Repertory Theatre?
What do our ushers do?
Ushers are a friendly welcome to our theatre. They greet audience members, take tickets, hand out programs, help audience members to their seats, and help make the theatre-going experience one to remember.
How much time does it involve?
Ushers arrive 1 hour before a performance starts and stay through the performance and until the house is empty of audience members.
What should I wear?
To help the audience know who to go to for help, we ask our ushers to wear black dress pants and a white button up shirt. Also, each usher will be provided an usher badge to wear on their shirt.
Can I see the performance I am ushering?
Yes, in fact ushers receive two FREE tickets to the performance they are volunteering for, one for them and one for a guest.
How do I sign up?
